At Michel de Thouars Interiors, we strive for the highest quality and exclusivity in our furniture collections. Each piece is carefully selected and crafted to perfectly complement your interior. Should you nevertheless be unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer the following return and refund policy.

Returns & Cancellations

Because our furniture and interior pieces are custom-selected and often ordered especially for you, specific return policies apply:

Custom-made and personalized furniture cannot be returned or exchanged.
Stock items can be returned within 14 days of delivery , provided they are unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Cancellations of custom orders are only possible within 48 hours of purchase .

Return procedure

  1. Return Request: Please contact us at info@micheldethouars.nl to submit a return request.
  2. Return Shipping Arrangement: We will schedule a pick-up appointment or provide instructions for return shipping to our warehouse.
  3. Inspection: After receipt, the item will be checked for damage and signs of use.
  4. Confirmation of approval or rejection: You will receive an email notification about the status of your refund.

Refunds

✔ Once your return is approved, we will process the refund via your original payment method within 14 days .
In case of damage or signs of use, a partial refund can be applied.
✔ Shipping costs are non-refundable unless it is an error on our part.

Exchanges & service appointments

Would you like to exchange an item or schedule a service appointment for maintenance or adjustments to your furniture? Please contact us. We're happy to help you find a suitable solution.

Important notes

Delivered furniture is not automatically returnable. Unsure about a purchase? We recommend making an appointment in advance for advice in our showroom.
Furniture transport & assembly: Large furniture must be returned by us or an authorized carrier. The customer is responsible for the transportation costs.
Warranty: For any warranty claims, please refer to our warranty conditions.
