At Michel de Thouars Interiors, we ensure your exclusive furniture is delivered with the utmost care and professionalism. Whether it's a designer piece from our collection or a custom-made interior, we offer a reliable and secure delivery service. Below, you'll find all the information about our shipping methods, costs, and delivery times.
Shipping Methods & Delivery
We offer different shipping options depending on the type of order:
✔ Smaller orders (such as accessories or small furniture) are shipped via a recognized parcel service. You will receive a track & trace code once your order has been shipped.
✔ Large furniture and custom-made items are delivered by our own transport service or a specialized furniture transporter.
✔ Delivery with assembly : For custom-made furniture, we offer an optional delivery and assembly service. If desired, our specialists can install and assemble the furniture at your home.
Delivery times
The delivery time depends on the product type:
✔ Stock items: Delivery within 5-7 working days .
Customization and orders on request: Delivery times vary by product and will be communicated to you upon ordering. The average delivery time is 6-12 weeks .
✔ International deliveries: Upon request. Contact us for a personalized shipping option and delivery time.
Once your order has been processed and is ready to ship, you will receive an email with the estimated delivery date.
Delivery costs
The delivery costs depend on the distance to our warehouse in Groningen :
✔ Within a radius of 75 km: Delivery costs are €150 per delivery.
✔ Outside a 75 km radius: Delivery costs are calculated individually and discussed with you in advance. Contact us for a quote.
✔ Deliveries outside the Netherlands: Upon request. We offer international delivery options upon consultation.
For large furniture and custom-made products, additional shipping costs may apply, depending on the delivery address and the complexity of the delivery.
Delivery & receipt
✔ Arrange delivery time : We will contact you to schedule a suitable delivery date and time.
✔ Ground floor delivery : Large furniture and custom work is delivered to the ground floor as standard.
✔ Delivery to floors : Do you require delivery to a floor without an elevator? Let us know in advance so we can discuss the options and any additional costs.
✔ Accessible passageways : Ensure the entrance, hallway, and room offer sufficient space for the delivery. Additional charges may apply if delivery is not possible due to narrow passageways or stairwells.
Inspection upon delivery
We advise you to carefully check your order upon receipt. If there is any damage or discrepancy, please report it immediately to the delivery person and contact us within 24 hours at info@micheldethouars.nl .
✔ We cannot process damage that is not reported within 24 hours of delivery.
