The Superquadra furniture line, designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, takes its name from the pilot project by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer, conceived in 1956 for a residential neighborhood in Brasilia and presented as a series of simple prefabricated houses.

The square volumes of the famous buildings, suspended on agile pilotis, have been reimagined and define the sideboards, benches, coffee tables, console tables, and dining tables of the Superquadra family.

The architectural impression that characterizes the airy volumes of the Superquadra storage units translates into the graphic minimalism of the Superquadra line of coffee tables, benches, and console tables.

The elements rest on a base with projecting legs, made of aluminum with a polished Brandy lacquer finish, which gives the products an ultra-light appearance.

The discreet design is enlivened by a mix of high-quality materials - marble, wood, fabric, and leather - used for the shelves and seats, and interpreted in a modern, structured style. With Superquadra, Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 confirms the identity of a style rooted in the 50s, with a mix of features that balance the past and the present.

The benches, characterized by different upholstery densities, are available in two heights (34 and 42 cm) and in four versions: fully upholstered in fabric or leather (126 × 128 cm), with a seat combined with a top in dark brown stained Santos rosewood (126 × 128 cm), with a seat combined with a top in Calacatta or Sahara Noir marble (182 × 58 cm), or with two tops, in solid wood and Calacatta marble or in wood and Sahara Noir marble (182 × 102 cm).

The coffee tables are square or rectangular and available in two heights. In addition to the versions with a top in Calacatta marble or Sahara Noir marble with a matte polyester lacquer finish, both crafted with the folding technique, they are also available with a top in one piece of dark brown stained Santos rosewood, with a matte polyester lacquer finish, or a dark brown stained Canaletto walnut top.

The furniture accessories are characterized by their bold textures, which are clearly visible in the versions with a striking top in a combination of marble and solid wood.

The Superquadra coffee tables, designed to be placed next to sofas and chairs, embody an elegant interplay of overlaps that also appeals to the console table, the intense compositional versatility of the line.
